I support, April fools was extremely disappointing. I didn’t like this feature in April fools 2022 but at least it was an addition. In 2023 there was basically nothing

2021 did not have that huge stick in the way.

It was just a flashlight but it wasn't in the way of the light.

That's why it's saying mystery mode. So that kids wouldn't get annoyed with the stick.

The features scratch has been adding for holidays in general have been disappointing, April fools had some references this year and that’s it, and other holidays get studios. Also, speaking of the studios, studios for Halloween, Christmas and other ones exist regardless of religion, so why not have features for holidays too? (Just trying to debunk a few people’s argument here, back on topic) Yeah i think that having any features for a holiday would be something that would kick some life back into scratch. i sport (supppmport)

People are complaining that Halloween/April Fools Day isn’t celebrated all around the world… First of all, this was originally an April Fools Day feature. So there should be no complaining about that, because nothing bad happened even though it was added on April Fools Day. And more people generally celebrate Halloween than April Fools Day. Halloween is one of the most celebrated holidays in the world. So even though it isn’t represented by all cultures and religions, it is still in the majority. (There is no holiday where 100% of the people will participate in it, but that doesn’t make it inherently wrong to celebrate it.)

There are also complaints about religion. At this point, no one celebrates Halloween for religion, and honestly it’s extremely rare (and kind of hard) to believe what the true purpose of the holiday was, religiously speaking:
Halloween traditions in the West date back thousands of years to the festival of Samhain (pronounced ‘Soo-when’, ‘So-ween’ or ‘Saw-wen’), the Celtic New Year's festival. The name means “summer's end”, and the festival marked the close of the harvest season and the coming of winter. The Celts believed that the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead was thinnest at this time and so the dead could return and walk where they had before. Further, those who had died in the past year and who, for one reason or another, had not yet moved on, could do so at this time and might interact with the living in saying good-bye.

[…]

Departed loved ones were expected – and welcomed – and the practice of setting out favorite foods for the dead may have originated as early as 2,000 years ago (though this is unclear), but many other kinds of spirits – some which never had human form – could also appear. Elves, fairies, the “wee folk”, sprites, and dark energies were just as likely to pay a visit as those one longed to see again one last time.

People really only celebrate it for candy and costumes, or perhaps scary movies and darkness and the sheer fun of horror. But no one is (or, at least, should) be offended by Halloween because it has origins that would be considered wrong in your particular religion, because that’s not why people even celebrate it anymore.

If anything, I feel like people are just trying to find a reason to not support it, so they are mentioning these things. But to be completely honest, are you actually worried about these things? No one is going to be distressed, traumatized, or ticked off because you add an option for mystery mode on Halloween or April Fools Day. So there is not much of a reason to worry about it.

That reply was good ngl
On day to day lives or in real sense, People not actually worried about halloween being wrong with because of a current religion. People don’t always have to celebrate it, but mystery mode is just like an eventual bonus. It's good sense-fullness.

This could actually be really cool for like a lighting mode feature, where you place the light and shadows are automatically cast on the ground. That'd be cool.

It did happen
You mean more features? That will be good to think about.
