There's still ways to make a computer sing, for example… err, ever heard of Vocaloid? Or its free counterpart, UTAU?
Perhaps they could create a new voicebank with UTAU (using some voice samples from humans ofcourse) and make it sing the lyrics?
Granted unless you want the singer to be unintelligible you're gonna have to use a LOT of human voice samples since english is a bit funny per se
