No support, if someone is advertising somewhere they shouldn't; just report them. There's a reason why the report button exist.

well the one problem is if they get onto featured or trending, then they can't go down the comment section and report every single one. I support it. No support, if someone is advertising somewhere they shouldn't; just report them. There's a reason why the report button exist.

Not everyone who posts links is advertising. What if they are trying to help the creator. And when your project gets featured or so you're not the only one reporting advertisement links. Many people look at the comments section and they report the ads as well as the creator.well the one problem is if they get onto featured or trending, then they can't go down the comment section and report every single one. This won't stop them from advertising on other Scratchers' profiles.

Support, it would help to make sure ads don’t happen as often instead of waiting for them to get deleted

This would be nice! But it should definitely be off by default, due to studios that allow people to request their project get added.

People who want to post a link purely to help the creator can go to their profile. Also, I'm not sure how that last point is related? Not everyone who posts links is advertising. What if they are trying to help the creator. And when your project gets featured or so you're not the only one reporting advertisement links. Many people look at the comments section and they report the ads as well as the creator.

(Original Mock-up by EnginneerRunner)!
Support! This would be very useful to have to stop advertising scratchers to post links to their projects all the time, even when most people aren’t okay with it.

It should have some options like:
- all links - default.
- onsite only - to prevent trolls and stuff.
- offsite only - to prevent easy ads, but still allow people to share things like Wikipedia pages if it's relevant.
- none - if there are many trolls.

I'm not sure if Scratch is a big fan of offsite links. It should have some options like:

- none - if there are many trolls.

Not a lot of people are big fans of them anyway, including me as well. Most website links would have to be trusted in order to post to prevent leaks of not appropriate content. I'm not sure if Scratch is a big fan of offsite links.
