Make mystery mode return on halloween or april fools (again)

My opinion of the features of April fool's day was… actually mixed. There was the AFD forum for all of the users, yet not everyone does spend their time on forums. So what do they get? Cat blocks, semicolon, scratch cat bot. That was it. Compare it to last year, even tho people still weren't allowed to post joke posts in the forums, modes but there is one in particular that stood out that was actually useful.

Introducing….
The Mystery/Prehistoric mode.
(DUN DUN DUN DUN!)

This has you make the entire project editor screen go dark. You can hover it over to it and there will be an almost sort of flashlight effect where that part of the project lights up. The same can be done with the prehistoric mode, only now there is a large stick in your way.

What's ironically funny is that it actually was useful for project thumbnails.
Lets say you wanted to make a spooky thumbnail and you wanted to make it like have a shadow layer.

The funny thing is what makes it so useful is that the mystery and prehistoric also interacts with the project layers and make it have an overlap shadow effect like id you shine your light over to something. Now put the mystery mode, place it where you put the shadows to be where you want it to be and wait for auto-save to save the project.

Perfect! You've done it flawlessly. No pen, no extensions, no other sprites.

This can actually fit as a halloween, do to the level of spookiness/the creativity you can put on it. Not sure why this was not in April's but we need it back now, due to the lack of pranks we got for non-forumers… I missed this mode, I'm sure you did too.

Don't they only make easter eggs on 1/4 day?
But if so this could be a good idea to add it.
Seems very cool and easy to spot and play around with.
But the only thing I am wondering about is that since halloween is a religious holiday which means it is a holiday based of a religion. So idk if scratch would think of that since Scratchtober is not all things halloween.

It's not everyone tho.

I just wanted to add an easter egg back due to the lack of pranks we got- Even if not everyone celebrates it, we can at least try to add more easter eggs due to the lack of how much we got for the website.

I do not avoid April Fools. I mean we don't celebrate it but that doesn't mean we can't except for Christmas which we don't at all.

But is this necessary? Does it add that much to the value of Scratch?

Even if this got implemented, it won't be at the top of the priority list or even at the middle
