That how you realize how much users they are as lgbt. It's not all just somewhat of a community.

Don't start a full on pride flamewar, People would need to shut things off on a heated topic. If you do that purposely, that will lead to some consequences. Pls don't go that route. This is just a small note.

That doesn't make sensel, how do you know it's a majority? Just because some people are in a studio that doesn't mean they are the majority of users on this website (or are even LGBT).

Looks like a cool idea . But if it was like a shortcut. (like spelling pride before you start a project) It would make it more of a cooler easter egg. (it can be announced in the announcements forum!) Of course, I'm not so sure whether people would even want to try it out but still would be even better.

Promoting the LGBT movement with meaningless gestures like this doesn't actually help the Scratch community in any way, not least because LGBT promotion is already ubiquitous in schools and among youth, Scratch's primary users. It would promote a cause 99% of Scratchers already know about and accept.

An option doesn't always guarantee that the feature is going to be harmless.

Exactly why I don't support this change, not because I dislike gay people or anything, I just don't see how this change helps members of LGBT community. Scratch is already very supporting, half the mods literally have pride flag in their profile pictures!

Some people may like the green flag more… so adding an option in the account settings may be a nice feature. Also pressing “PRIDE” making the green flag… well, not green, and a pride flag, might be a good change. (Changes in the code editor, too.) This would be great to add to Scratch!
