Ban it’s my birthday projects
Also many, many people share the same first name and birthday Birthdays can't let others know your exact location, it's like sharing your first name because your first name isn't sharing anything very private or that could track your location, no support
Also queen of the page

Yeah, but I feel like that is relying on chance too much. We want to be as safe as possible, leaving as little to chance as possible.

Unless they unshare the project at a point and reshare the projectNot so much your location as your birth date - which is another key piece of information that is used to identify you to some organizations. So it can be useful for identity theft. Is this a problem for kids? Maybe not right now - but later in life it might be a problem to them. They should definitely be talking it over with their parents before making their birth date public knowledge. B-Day's aren't a tracker to your location. How would that be invading your privacy? No support.

There is probably not much chance that is relied on taking in consideration of the single fact that many others share the exact same birthday. Yeah, but I feel like that is relying on chance too much. We want to be as safe as possible, leaving as little to chance as possible.

Yes, having the same birthday is fine, but birthday and first name is a bit much, especially since you can see their country/location on their profile.

It’s not very likely they would do that. Some could, but the majority wouldn’t I think.

Happy birthday to me someone, these types of projects should be, banned from the site, because they give people their birth dates.

many, many other people share the exact same birthday as YOU, meaning that it's super hard and super unlikely that anybody can doxx you just from your birthday alone.Yes, but remember that
And also, some people put Antarctica as their own location on their profile as to not share location to everyone.

I still do not support this suggestion, as it seems too extreme for something that, if shared, has a very, very small chance of being a bad ideaKeyword: someme someone, these types of projects should be, banned from the site, because they give people their birth dates.Happy birthday toThere is probably not much chance that is relied on taking in consideration of the single fact that many others share the exact same birthday.many, many other people share the exact same birthday as YOU, meaning that it's super hard and super unlikely that anybody can doxx you just from your birthday alone.Yes, but remember that

Birthdays don't tell someone personal information. You can't be tracked down simply based on your birthdate.

What are the cons? There is not really many, I don’t think anyone would be super dissapointed if they could tell random people on the internet their birthday.

More cons? WIll be way too extreme, and no one will know your birthday so no one of your internet friends can tell you happy birthday either. ( there are some people who have a rough IRL life and dont have any one else to tell them happy birthday too )

And I just thought up one, some people may riot and protest against this new TOS rule, by trolling by sharing their birthday every time they post. What are the cons? There is not really many, I don’t think anyone would be super dissapointed if they could tell random people on the internet their birthday.

That seems a bit extreme, if they did, report them

people on the internet were super dissapointed in how they cant have a 17 thread long comment thread, people on the internet were extremely dissapointed that the stage was swapped to the right side instead of the left, people on the internet were extrodinarily dissapointed that they cant share horror projects, project with guns, or projects with blood. What makes you think they wouldn't be super dissapointed if they couldn't tell random people that its their birthday??? What are the cons? There is not really many, I don’t think anyone would be super dissapointed if they could tell random people on the internet their birthday.
And atleast the previous few made quite a bit of sense, randomly taking down thousands if not more projects simply because there is an extremely minor chance someone actually shared it on their exact birthdate, then also shared their location information (which already shouldn't be present) extremely precisely, AND got someone malicious on their trail spending hundreds of hours finding information from 10 years ago just to commit identity theft when the information is likely not even accurate anymore is kinda maybe possibly a pretty large con?

Not any harder to find your location via your IP adress and then maybe just also trick you to install a virus (in fact id assume it would be easier then going around the entirety of the scratch website with a crawler in hopes you sent SOMETHING of possible use) Yeah, but I feel like that is relying on chance too much. We want to be as safe as possible, leaving as little to chance as possible.

Ok, good point, however, like you said people on the internet can be strange, who knows if someone would do that?

Agreed, I could just share a birthday project in any day of the year and there's no way that somebody can reliably use that info unless I'm a celebrity who has documented every single facet of my life And atleast the previous few made quite a bit of sense, randomly taking down thousands if not more projects simply because there is an extremely minor chance someone actually shared it on their exact birthdate
