To upload a banner, use a website such as imageshack or cubeupload. I personally use cubeupload, but it's your choice. Both websites are completely free to use. Then, click the edit button at the bottom right of your forum post. You should see a list of buttons. Press the button with the tree in it and paste the image url from your uploading website.

You can make a form post to display your shop.
In the requests tab, you can find shops based in forums instead of studios or projects.
Most of the shops in the directory are based in the fourms!

To make a banner, you can use softwares like Canva.
For image hosting, use cubeupload or imageshack.
For me, I use cubeupload. But it's up to you
