A new feature is currently being developed: showcase of projects. People will be able to select the projects they want to be shown on their public profile (their showcase). All other projects won't be listed, they only will be visible to the author. I'll let you know when it's ready.
is it ready?

Nearly. It's implemented but not deployed in adacraft.org for now. We're testing it. If anyone wants to test it before official release, and provides some feedback about it, just tell me.
May I please test that feature and respond with feedback?

The dark mode and showcase features (and some other minor improvements) have been deployed to beta.adacraft.org. Note: there's no change to the editor itself, the new features are about the portal (profile and project pages, etc.).

Enjoy, and any feedback is welcome!

A big thank to Seb from adacraft team who implements all this.

I'm currently getting a blank page when visiting beta.adacraft.org.

Sorry about that!

Everything is fine on my side. I tried Firefox and Chrome, in private browsing or not. I'm on Ubuntu.

With what browser and system the problem appears? Do you know if there are some errors on the dev console?

Projects in the showcase are fully shared.
Projects, not the showcase are only visible by the link. (like an unlisted youtube video)

Cool features!

Yes it is slow to load (hope I can fix that in the near future!) but once loaded everything works fine.

Pufferfish_Test wrote:

Is it open source?

Of course, I plan to make it open source! I need to clean up a few things before that. Maybe in the next weeks or months. I'll post here when it is ready.

It's a fork (modification) of it, it should be pretty obvious.

It's a fork, it's not stolen, otherwise turbowarp would technically be stealing scratch's Scratch 3 GUI. There's a difference between forking and stealing.

It doesn't work for me either.

I'm on Windows 11, Edge 108.0.1462.54

It seems that's a network issue (see the 404 errors on the console). Maybe connections to beta.adacraft.org are blocked for you? This happens for some people whose school is blocking connection to some specific websites like adacraft.

If it's the case for you, sorry, but I can't do anything to make bata.adacraft.org accessible for you.

I'm not getting a white screen anymore by the way so whatever issue it was seems to have been fixed.

I know this seems quite random, but, is adacraft based off of TurboWarp?

Forking is a process that's done with care,
An open-source approach that many will share.
A new project born, from existing code,
In a direction unique, a new story unfolds.

A hypothetical example, let's say,
A website code's been forked, a new way.
The original website works great,
But we want to add features, it's our fate.
So we take the code, make a new branch,
Add our own features, take a chance.
A new website, with our vision,
Forking done right, with precision.

Stealing code, on the other hand,
Is a practice that's not so grand.
Taking code without permission,
Is a violation, with no redemption.

A hypothetical example, we'll see,
A game code's been stolen, it's not free.
The original game, with hard work made,
But someone else took it, without trade.
They repackaged it, and sold it too,
Making money, without a clue.
The original creators, lost their due,
Stealing code, is never the right thing to do.
