Ö, Ä, Ü, ß, Ñ etc. in the scratch letters letter sprites!

We need non English-letters like Ö, Ä, Ü, ß, Ñ, â, š, ğ, ç, ı, İ,á, é, í, ó, ú, ü, ñ, ¿, ¡, ę, ó, ą, ś, ł, ź, ż, ć, ń etc. as letter sprites in the sprite library!
(The sprite library letters I mean are for example Block-E or Glow-A)
This is because you use them for texs,t which you should also be able to do with any languages, even if they need more than just the standard English letters.

Of course so many letters of so many languages would really be a lot, but I suggest that you make a search bar for the letters or only make them appear when you specifically search for them (then explain that tho), because else the sprite library would eventually become too big.
I think by adding that, Scratch will be able to better support people no matter where they are from and in what language they want to create and share!

Sure, but it would be much easier if there were already sprites for these letters.

I would also like to recommend Ñ for this suggestion. Actually it might be useful to include all letter from all languages, if possible. I agree that would be pretty cool.

Yeah. Maybe the Latin ones (And perhaps some other languages), but Khmer has over 70.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!,! I LIKE TO HAVE MORE IJCLUSIVITY ON SCRATHC SO I THUNK IT AI A GOOD IDEA TO ADD THESE LETTERS FROM DIFFERENT LANGUAGES

Sorta support? Because while it may be useful to latin and some Germanic languages, e. g. German(which I btw am fluent in), French, Spanish, etc., I think that, if you meant not only Latin characters, but every writing system currently in Unicode, it is basically impossible, because e.g. Chinese(which btw I am also fluent in) , Japanese Kanji, old Korean Chinese characters, etc. each have tens of thousands of characters which need to be added, which, if it was possible in some ways, would break the library, since it would be impossible to search for them. It is just my opinion tho, I am not some sort of authority. So please, stay objective and calm if you disagree.

you could also just, turn the existing ? upside down and then flip horizontally

I'm all for this suggestion but it would take a considerable amount of work to make all 60000 asian characters

Yeah that's probably too hard to implement.

Not a bad idea. It might be smart to have the accent marks be seperate.

Perhaps there could be costumes that have accent marks without a letter and you could copy that onto the letter (for example, a sprite of a small ~ which you could place on the N to get Ñ)? Sounds easier to navigate.

Maybe it could be based off of what language you have selected?

(Of course there won't be hindi letters with this solution, but…)
