[Read OP] "set cursor to" block - Featured as "not rejected" on TOLORS
I don't think there can be if the JS to do this is fast.cursor not rendering, and scratch users like to try to lag it until it glitches out so yeah, just yknow fix the fact it takes 2 blocks to crash a tabhow? people really do need to read the OP before replying lol
yea this would be cool
there is a chance of there being glitches that could cause things like invisible cursors tho, so if this was to be added, the ST should make sure there isn't any glitches that are relatively common before releasing it

Yes there is gonna be JavaScript, but it's gonna change a CSS property (so it's pretty fast)

when green flag clickedWhat would happen?
set cursor to (join [no][ne])::sensing
Nothing, they could hardcode it so that that's not possible

It could also be used for animation projects, where fine details are important.
Why is everyone saying that hiding the cursor is useful for animations? Just move your cursor off of the project screen well, this would be good for people with animations, they could set it to a certail color to match tbe background

❥ Children aren't that dumb, if the cursor isn't just rapidly changing, they'd probably realize that cursors change when you do certain things (I was one of those kids) also I doubt that anyone on the website is actually going to use the block, and it'll be very surprising to the younger users who randomly had their mouse change shape and can't understand why.

Plus, they're the one using the computer, so they should know what is happening.❥ Children aren't that dumb, if the cursor isn't just rapidly changing, they'd probably realize that cursors change when you do certain things (I was one of those kids) also I doubt that anyone on the website is actually going to use the block, and it'll be very surprising to the younger users who randomly had their mouse change shape and can't understand why.

As my response last year had stated, the only problem I really see with this is people abusing it in strange ways, such as hiding a pure colored cursor (idk if tehre is one since the last time I touched CSS was like 5 yrs ago, but ther ecould be) on a pure colored background, constantly changing the cursor, lagging while changing the cursor resulting in the cursor not rendering properly/at all for a bit

No it isn't. In fact TOLORS literally links to this topic stating it's not rejected. Rejected.
