most trolls know swear words and have access to images that no young child does. young children would probably act a lot more stupid and break the guidelines stealing or being rude. trolls mostly break the guidelines through inappropriate content. if you're old enough to know 18+ stuff, it's likely that you at least know how to make a new email.

This whole argument over child maturity and intelligence level really boils down to the individual. On one hand there is going to be the kid that got their own computer when they turned six while there's also another six year old that can't stop watching AmONguS SpoTTed iN FoRtNite videos.

The argument over child intelligence is basically what built the entire topic IMO. Trolls are almost never young children and a large majority of those trolls should know how to make an email and change their IP (at least by pressing a reset button on the router).

Trolls are a much bigger problem than kids who will eventually stop “trolling” after a single day.

True words. At the end of the day, I really don't get this idea. Like most people who get temp bans aren't even that problematic, and if someone is actually causing lots of harm, they would most likely be perma banned instead of temp.

there is a reason why you don´t immediately get IP ban on your first ban, and that´s most network infrastructures sharing an IP over many clients (skool networks, cellular providers too cheap to get more than a few IPs, a VPN…

They could just use Tempmail, no support.
