I suggest that when someone replies to someone's comment on ur profile or project that the messages page then says:
Mockup:

Why do I suggest this?
I think it's good to see if a comment is a reply and who replied whose comment because else when it says this

for example (Which was because someone advertised on my project) You just think what? This makes no sense! Also, I think seeing who replied to whom is just better to understand conversaitons right on the messages page.

It's so confusing! This is needed, however I think the original poster should also have linking in bold letters.

I understand where this is coming from here. When conversations happen in your project comments, it can be hard to tell if these notifications are directed at you, the creator, or someone random. This would help with that problem as now you would more understand why someone just commented something that seemed out of context.

Yes, full support! It could be really confusing to see whats going on without seeing what is a reply to someone and what is actually meant to you if you have some projects I think…
Well, I havent tried it.

What if you're having a conversation with someone, on your profile, and then someone with an inappropriate username shows up. The person you're talking to replies to their comment, and when their account is deleted, you can still see their username. Would that happen?

If I remember correctly, when some of the troll accounts were deleted the people who replied to the troll were changed to be replying to someone else in the comment thread. What if you're having a conversation with someone, on your profile, and then someone with an inappropriate username shows up. The person you're talking to replies to their comment, and when their account is deleted, you can still see their username. Would that happen?

wouldn't it be better if you could see who they were replying to? you would still have to go to the comments page in order anyway so…

I’ve had cases where I see a comment directed at someone else, not knowing that, and it’s confusing. A special message type for comments replying to other users on your comment sections would help me better understand those comments.

Is that not already possible if a troll account comments on your profile and then they are deleted? What if you're having a conversation with someone, on your profile, and then someone with an inappropriate username shows up. The person you're talking to replies to their comment, and when their account is deleted, you can still see their username. Would that happen?
