Sure, but that doesn't actually tell us how many people would legitimately use it and just say “oh that sounds like a good idea” but never actually use it.
Good idea, but I'm not sure if this is our biggest priority at the moment… Maybe some time in the future someone could organize this..? It would be very helpful to have some more feedback.
Here's some: If a new user sees a comment with the question mark next to their name and clicks it, they might wonder how to set theirs up. I think it might be helpful to include a link to the commented user to see their profile. But let me guess, you are going to say they can just click the profile pic.
I would also say that. Although I like the suggestion vut this username thing already exists. You can also click on tje username.

People are acting like this is the most confusing thing to be on the site if it were to be added. It's literally just what the original post says. Click, see About Me, and nothing more.
The only way you would misunderstand that is if you're very new to the site. Take a look at the editor or a studio from a New Scratcher's point of view. They'd probably be confused. But the Scratch Team won't change it because that isn't their biggest priority, so it shouldn't be ours.
But they need to explore and then understand like the other parts of scratch inteface.

Also as a few people do not want to seeor display rheir about me they can turn both on or off.

No support. Can't you just open a link in a new tab and close it again once you read it? What if users don't share their gender?

If you wish to learn the answer to this, please read posts #6 through to #206 where we discuss this issue in great detail by going back and forth about it with no clear answer developing. In short, this is an unresolved issue for now.
What if users don't share their gender?
It doesn't matter - they still may want to include other important information, like the need for trigger warnings, religion or dislike of certain topics.

The Original Post (OP) is not just about pronouns. It's about having the whole about me instead. Also, if you have too many tabs open and open another one it could crash your pc/laptop, which could be annoying.

Honestly, I don't know what to say about this suggestion that hasn't already been said. The workaround is simple, yet it has little to no other problems. I mean, this could be useful to those who have a lot of tabs open and have bad hardware, but it would take a while to code. It's a great idea, however, its workaround is so simple that I honestly don't know how I feel about this. Semi-support.

Here
But still provide options for both as peo0le like Unity_and_Cq are not comfortable with this feature so it will help solve their problem as well

I already know that. Also, shouldn't my pc be dead if i only have 8gb ram and 1000+ tabs? It's just one more tab.

Yeah, but some people don't even add that, just waste their space with ascii art, sometimes they add things they do like, for example, my about me, doesn't say anything about me being a he/him, just my friends and what I like to do. So, it's not gonna work for everyone.

Maybe so some people don't call a he a she and a she a he, because people get mad about that.

So? Just because it won't work for everyone doesn't mean we should deprive the people who need it of it.

Why would you have an About Me and not want to display it? The entire point of an About Me is to display it to others.

If someone doesn't add their gender (or at least their pronouns) to their about me, they have absolutely no right to get mad over misgendering/using the wrong pronouns.

My point still stands. What pronouns do you think a cassfem would use? Or a genderfaun person? Or a genderless person would use. Just because they told you their gender doesn't always mean you could guess their pronouns based off their gender.

They do actually. Especially if those pronouns cause things like gender dysphoria for them.
It's your fault for misgendering them in the first place anyways.

I mean, to be fair, you would usually need to address the person you are talking to via comments. So like if you didn’t know what my pronouns were and you were talking to someone about my projects or whatever, you wouldn’t be talking to me, but rather to another person. So I kind of think that the pronouns reason is out the window.

It’s not your fault if they didn’t put their gender or pronouns on their about me. If thy didn’t want to misgendered, just put your pronouns or gender.

Edit: I’m basically saying that if you are talking to someone, you don’t need to know their pronouns.

I don't know. However, that is the topic so I'm just going with it. Yet no one wants to answer my question: If this was put into use, how many people would actually use it, not just say they will. Every time I ask, I'm told that my question won't be answered though it seems important and valid.
