EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS
Until further notice, employee applications are closed.
Every saturday, an activity check happens. Here is the activity scale:
- No checks happened since hiring
- Active on all checks so far
- Missed one check
- Missed two checks
- Missed three checks
Missed four checks
- On break (does not need to respond to checks or orders)
Missing five or more checks may result in a fire. However, you can easily re-apply by simply filling in the form.

Hello! My name is Inky, and I would like to apply for a position in this shop.
Application Form

Job: Any open positions that you would like to be filled! I am comfortable with any of the jobs listed, and will do my best to fulfill them to the very best of my ability.
Why I want to work here: I love writing. There is something magical about being able to imagine a world outside your own, and then spinning that world into written language so that it can be shared with other people. That act, of unleashing my imagination in the form of letters and words, is a craft I think I am good at - but I want to improve. And what better way to sharpen my skills than to work at a shop like this, transforming other people’s orders into fully fleshed-out stories? This job will give me opportunities to expand my abilities, practice storytelling, and (hopefully) have fun doing it.
Links to my works: You can look at anything from here, though the quality greatly varies from piece to piece. My personal favorites (my best works, the ones I am particularly proud of) are this short story and this original-work-turned-fanfiction. The second work was assembled from a handful of random writing prompts, so the plot is messy and not very well thought out. I do think I did well with certain characterizations and relationships, though, and overall it’s one of my better works (that have been posted to Scratch). Also, I know the title says Among Us, but the actual story has nothing to do with that game. The writing challenge I wrote this for was themed around Among Us.
Style: I have a straightforward, often serious writing style. By this I mean that my prose is not at all purple; I cannot for the life of me write flowery language. In terms of elaborate descriptions and figurative language, my writing is simple. It is also serious most of the time. I do not write comedy. Some of my stories do have a more lighthearted tone, but they are not by any means funny. I have a terrible sense of humor. I cannot write poetry, either.
Notes: My favorite genre to write is fantasy, though I am always open to trying other types of stories. Thank you for taking the time to read through this, and please know that I appreciate you considering me!

1. Limits for orders

Describe your story (list characters, setting, events, tone): basically there are three characters. they are high school seniors trying to enjoy their final year before university. throughout the school year, the two women (who will be briefly described) have had a crush on one man. however, he is very obvious and does not notice. when it came to be prom night in may, they both finally confessed to him, but at different times. in the end he ends up being gay so all the fighting the girls did was over nothing lol. the tone can be pretty light and playful.
girl 1 (you can pick names): she is a very popular girl, knowing her way socially. she is a very stereotypical “mean girl,” having no regard for the feelings and desires of others. rather selfish.
girl 2: she is a stereotypical “nerd” character, often found reading books and explaining incredibly niche topics to her friends. however she is not afraid to stand up for herself and is quite extroverted. she can easily fight with girl 1 because of this.
boy: he is a very oblivious extroverted character. he's the stereotypical “jock.” he's very into sports and is overall very masculine, leading to the wrong assumption that he is straight due to stereotypes.

Why you want to work here: I love writing so so much, it’s so powerful and magical and amazing… but sometimes I struggle to put all my ideas together and get myself together to actually write a full story. Its always been a long term dream of mine to write a book, and this seems like a great place to start. And I really want to improve my writing and my motivational skills; this seems an amazing idea and an amazing way to do that!!
