Captcha when comments posted at alarming speeds

Support. I do think that posting 5 comments in 5 seconds is a bit weird so checking if the user is actually human would be great.

And you get a warning for commenting too quickly so adding this will be really good!

Support. I feel like this should also be added when you trigger the spam thing if you post the same comment too many times in a row.

Maybe if the person has to do the Captcha, they would get a warning saying that spamming isn't good, and mute them if they get the message a certain amount of times.

Not even possible for a spam bot to do
I think maybe like 3 messages per 50 seconds or something like that

I also don't like the bulging text where you have to type all the letters you see. Another statement, roblox once made a captcha themself, and you had to check every game you played last week. We could have something like that. Also, some bots could have a calculator, so I don't think math is a good idea.
What if you played tons of games and forget/didn't play any games?

What if you're the kind of scratcher who does a lot of stuff, and views a lot of projects?

I think they should do it only if there is tons of comments posted, for example 10 comments within 5 seconds, because sometimes I need to reply to tons of people and it's annoying to do the CAPTCHA test.

something like an easy test with 5 answers and text saying to answer (random answer). if you don't get it right you will get muted for 1 min (perhaps more?)

That's exactly what I meant, like when you post comments really fast that isn't humanly possible.

I just hope that the Captcha test isn't the annoying endless one about “Click all the traffic lights”.
The checkbox one isn't very good either since a robot could be programmed to tick it.
Yeah, sure, a robot could be programmed to click it, but how could a bot identify all the boats in the image? They're made for preventing robots, hence the “I'm Not A Robot” title.
I meant the smaller one with a single tick box.

This sounds like a bad idea I feel like it would turn out how CAPTCHAs turned out difficult and annoying for people and easy for bots.

in what way are captchas easy for bots? i thought they were designed to be difficult for bots. and from what i've seen, they tend to work very well against bots.

Tbh, my biggest concern with this is the “5 comments in 5 seconds.” Spam bots could simply time it where they post 5 comments in 5.1 seconds, and this captcha wouldn’t detect it. It could even do 5 in 10 seconds, and that would still be pretty fast and devastating to the community. I would say 5 in the span of a minute as to really prevent any spambots. When the captcha is done, it will reset so that real users don’t have to face this every single comment.

actually i just noticed this requirement and realized it's already impossible to hit it anyway due to the existing short comment cooldown that scratchers have. maybe you want something like, 5 comments in 30 seconds?

Anyway, it should show you 3 studio images and their name below, asking you which one(s) you're following. The bot spamming comments won't know that, unless it's advanced.
Bots don't follow studios, so oh no the whole captcha is broken and this could create bugs. They don't view projects either so yeaaaaah.

It's not possible for scratchers, but I thought bots could find ways to do that?
