Hi guys (and gurls),
I've been making a Halo Wars game this afternoon and it's all gone fine till now. The problem is when you open up the shop menu and close it, it won't re-open. If you download my script then you shall see the problem. It would be great if you could find out the problem and fix it.

Well your shop display seems to depend upon;
when I receive start
wait until shop = a number

there's no loop there so once the wait finishes then that's it; unless you broadcast another start which you don't seem to do unless green flag is pressed.

Oh I see the problem now thanks. How would you suggest fixing it?

Do I just need to stick forever things around them?

Well I didn't really see the point of the shop variable. As far as I can see the entry point for the shop is the shop button so keep the when shop sprite clicked script but just do a broadcast show shop. When show shop is broadcast then trigger all the stage changes and showing and hiding of sprites. As long as you remember to show the shop button sprite when the shop is left then it will always be clickable to re-enter the shop.
