You can get hidden blocks by editing the JSON files of projects

No support, I believe it only does it for the sprite (maybe not true) but if not, just use different colours (The brightness or something can be changed by 1 or -1 and it will be different!)

I'm not asking to change the behaviour of the block. I'm asking for the block to be renamed.

I was also really confused by this block. I never use it in my projects, but I never knew that this was how it worked. I also think we should change it to the new name you suggested or something similar.
