There should also be a tickbox that says “I'm epileptic” when creating an account, if you tick it, you are banned from using projects with flashing light, this option can be toggled after the creation of the account
I don't think epileptic people will be comfortable sharing this information.
I think people should be encouraged to not create flashing light projects at all, because it can seperate them from the community.
E.g. There's an amazing game and an epileptic person wants to try it out. But guess what? The creator has a flashing intro so the perskn can't play.
I think it would be better if people don't make flashing light projects at all.

Support, because many have bad effects to flashing lights, so yeah. But how will this work? Will the system detect these blocks:
Edit: This might be hard for the system when included in long scripts
when green flag clicked
forever
change [ color] effect by (25)
end

Is this necessary? I think a warning is enough. Users probably wouldn't want to be asked about things like this while creating an account. What if you have a lot of projects that may have flashing lights/images, but you aren't sure and this is implemented? Would you have to comb through everything to check?

Support! This would be helpful, although i'm not sure if you need to say your epileptic when you are creating an account. I'm sure people who are aren't going to decide to watch a project with an epileptic warning if they are epileptic.

I agree, I dont see the need for the tickbox. People should be able to make their own decisions.

Probably. If it prevents people from having seizures or something else awful, then I'd say it's worth it.

No support, there's already a workaround by making a sprite that popups at the start and then like “press <space> to continue”.

Its not an effective workaround imo, as literally nobody does it, a toggleable option will greatly encourage people to give proper warning.

What would happen to projects with these flashing lights that were shared before this update? Would users have to manually go in and add it in? What if you had thousands of projects (like me) and won't be able to find the project(s) with flashing lights?

I mean- it's a matter of safety. You can probably get friends to help you comb through the studios for the ones w/ flashing lights but like- again- its a safety concern.

It's kept private I don't think epileptic people will be comfortable sharing this information.
I think people should be encouraged to not create flashing light projects at all, because it can seperate them from the community.I don't think that's possible

Yes, it is almost impossible, but we should at least try to minimise those projects. Sometimes, people's profile pictures flash, and I think that is the first thing that should be discouraged. It's kept private I don't think epileptic people will be comfortable sharing this information.I think people should be encouraged to not create flashing light projects at all, because it can seperate them from the community.I don't think that's possible

I support!! I’m not epileptic but I hate projects with heavy flashing lights in ‘em, so this would be nice.

I agree. I guess there are too many projects with flashing lights, so this warning would be useful in the end. flashing pfp should be discouraged, but I don't think it's realistic to minimise/NFE projects with flashing lights
I have a suggestion though: maybe the project creator could set a duration of time it shows up? Of course, there has to be a minimum and a maximum, so people have time to react and to avoid it being misused.
The minimum could be 4-5 secs and a maximum of 10-11 secs.
There could also be a warning sign, when epileptic people see the thumbnail, they wouldn't click on it anyway.
Mockup:

(the project doesn't actually have flashing lights, it's just an example)

What if someone is incredibly lazy in this sort of stuff or wants people to have seizures and doesn't check their projects? What if you have a lot of projects that may have flashing lights/images, but you aren't sure and this is implemented? Would you have to comb through everything to check?

Then you report those projects.
