There is not a backpack in Scratch Desktop but there is a workaround,
You can export sprites as .sprite3 files and they also contain the sprites.

Not possible. You can't log into scratch through the offline editor, and your backpack is saved to your scratch account, not your computer. It's the offline editor for a reason.

I think it would be best to have the “separate offline backpack”, along with buttons to transfer the contents of the online backpack to the offline one and vice versa. Shouldn't be that hard to add in my opinion. As a workaround, you can just keep a folder on your computer as a makeshift “backpack”. That's what I do right now. Embrace your inner 1.x user!

_meow_ 2.0 doesn’t have that. At least in the online editor it is there.

No support! It's so easy to just download a sprite, art or sound, and upload it into another project! This is absolutely unnecessary

Semi support, I don't want our standard backpacks to be accessible in the offline editor although a backpack saved in the computer memory would be userful for quickly duplicating scripts between projects with no interet connection.

I Support. People saying it requires an internet connection are wrong. It doesn't. Users have there own backpack on their account.

when green flag clickedYou shouldn't just type really unspecific stuff then act like the person that doesn't understand is an idiot.
say [online editor already exists] for (2) secs
switch costume to [face palm v]
TLDR: be more specific

Add the Backpack to the Offline Editor
You can download projects, sprites and costumes from the online site already. Adding a backpack (an online, registered one like the one of the current online editor, one or an offline one) would be unnecessary in my opinion. The backpack offline editor could be a bit more difficult than the online one.
If you're editing offline via the app(s), you can't use the online backpack, even if they add it, defeating the point.

I agree that this would be useful, this shouldn't be too difficult as the TurboWarp team have already added this functionality in their offline editor.
