I'm back and i have decided to bring this back

This is Scratch University. Enroll to learn more about scratch, MIT and more! Sign up for your own courses like Collaboration, Programming, Design, and plenty others. Take quizzes so your teachers can recognize your strengths and weaknesses and most of all… help!

Here at the Scratch University we will first give you a quiz to see if you qualify. If you qualify then you can start deciding your classes. There are so many classes that at least one will fit your personal interests. However, you must have the educational classes and one Internship class. The internship classes are where your teacher will set you up with a collab to help (*Note: you have no say in which collab. The teacher will assign you it according to your strengths and weaknesses) Once you have picked your classes, you can go straight to learning. Over the course of the week you should know a lot about the topics that you chose for your classes. At the end you will have a final test. If you pass, then you will get a “Scratch Degree.” Good luck!

Why should I choose you: I am musician, working up to join the professional music industry. I have composed many songs, performed and play many instruments. I love to teach people and this is a great opportunity. I currently run a music competition and complete music requests for people

Can I teach music (not sound)?
I can be on everyday, I check the fora many times per day, and can check on my phone when away, etc.
I write songs. I passed the level 7 CM music theory test this year. I've been playing piano for over 7 years.
Oh, and I'm a judge in the aforementioned contest.

When can you be on: I probably won't be available until the 24th June, but very active after then.
Why should I choose you: I am members of many collabs, and I am the leader of the Big Cat OS collab (link in sig). I would also love to help other Scratchers create/take part in their own collab. (Also, I'm perfectly happy with students being applied to Big Cat OS.

Who: SilverEagle/SE_Test
What Job: Ooh, this one is really hard… Programming/Scripting or Writing (I don't exactly get the Reporting part)? Could I teach two classes? I'm really active.
When can you be on: Almost everyday! I love Scratch, and wouldn't be away from it for more then a day if I could help it.
Why should I choose you: (Programming Well, yes I'm a new scratcher, but I've had a lot of experience in programming other languages and caught on right away. I can explain things fairly well, and want other people to begin programming amazing projects as soon as possible! I want them to be successful.
(Writing I've written many short stories, haven't completed a novel yet but I think I'm capable of. I own a writing collaboration called StoryBook which nobody has joined yet but I hope to get big. I have a large passion for writing and teaching, and can help make each paragraph of words improved!

I hope I can become a teacher at this thing, it looks really cool and original!

Just want to say that Retrac and I remixed as students! And that your idea is awesome!

Do I have to do all parts of the student app?
I'm applying to teach collab and managing, but my writing/drawing isn't very good, so?

I find most of you have yet to remix the project

A good majority of you will be accepted
@kayybee I would accept you because you seem like a great scratcher and teacher, however I only need one teacher for each subject and he posted first, and can do both sound AND music, however you can substitute for him July 10-19 if he remixes the project and becomes a teacher

@Chocolatepenguin Yes. Its a way to see how you interpret, teach, and learn. If you do not wish to you don't have to be a teacher.

This happened long ago, but I think I know a way to stop people from getting mad about multiple universities. I have my mascot, a Wild Cat. and When/If you make one, you will have yours. What if we put a little competition in there? Kind of like college football. As long as a person only goes to one of them not both. But yes, i would be fine with you making another

Hi! I was just thinking about choosing classes, and I didn't know if that was the sort of thing that was acceptable to post in the studio. I was wondering, how many classes can you take? I'm almost certaintly taking Reporting and Writing, but what do you do in Managing and Collaberating or Sound and Music? Do you have to be good at the class you're taking, or can it be something you want to get better at? In that case, it could be that Art and Design or Programming and Scripting would be good for me. Gosh, they all look so good!
