Make it more clear that there is a "Restore" feature
Often, scratchers will accidentally delete something. They'll get very upset that all the hard work is gone, yet they are unaware of the hidden “restore” feature in the edit tab. They'll get demotivated and potentially cancel the project.
What I'm suggesting is a way to make scratchers more aware of the “Restore” button. I have two different ways of doing this:
1 - The first few times a scratcher deletes a sprite, sound, costume, etc., a pop-up will appear under the edit tab saying:
2 - Move the restore button to appear visibly next to the “Edit” button.
PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS AN UNDO BUTTON IN THIS TOPIC!!
Instead, please create your own topic for that (or find the duplicate if there is one).
Thoughts?

Make it more clear that there is a "Restore" feature
Or just an undo button instead because the restore button only restores the last deleted thing.

I highly recommend this feature, but instead add a confirm deletion pop-up instead.

I think the edit button should be replaced with 2 icons - a reserve button (so like a reset circle) for the restore button, and a lightning bolt for turbo mode (shaded in white when turned on, only outlined when turned off)
Scratch should also add a tooltip (where the text comes underneath when you hover over the button) so people know what it is.

This is the best idea I’ve seen so far. Support, this would prevent accidents. I think the edit button should be replaced with 2 icons - a reserve button (so like a reset circle) for the undo button, and a lightning bolt for turbo mode (shaded in white when turned on, only outlined when turned off)

Support. I've lost a lot of sprites and costumes not knowing about this feature

Make it more clear that there is a "Restore" feature
Support. It's really useful for letting people know that there's a feature like this, and it will let projects be made with more ease (ever accidentally deleted a sprite?)
It should just be built into the undo button tho.

Why is every one relating this to the undo button? I realize the similarities, but this is entirely different from an undo button (which would be clearly visible).

Though, that idea has already been suggested before somewhere. Or just an undo button instead because the restore button only restores the last deleted thing.

Undo button, restore button, it’s the same thing, just different wording. I know what you mean (the restore button in the editor tabs) Why is every one relating this to the undo button? I realize the similarities, but this is entirely different from an undo button (which would be clearly visible).
What do you think about my post above?

Undo buttons can undo multiple things, while restore only undoes one thing. Undo button, restore button, it’s the same thing, just different wording

Yes! I have a suggestion, maybe there could be an option if you want the pop-up or not. Since it's quite annoying when you have to delete many sprites and there's a popup each time. Please add this to the OP Often, scratchers will accidentally delete something. They'll get very upset that all the hard work is gone, yet they are unaware of the hidden “restore” feature in the edit tab. They'll get demotivated and potentially cancel the project.
