Support, the first project I ever made on my old(er(er)) account was with Gobo, the project is unshared but the only shared one also has Gobo, he deserves more love.

It doesn't make sense to have Gobo walk, when Gobo canonically floats. Scratch lore session, when loading a project, there's a chance that you'll see a message that says “inflating gobos”, which implies gobo is similar to a balloon and that they float.

I think there’s a lot of sense here. Tera and Nano don’t have walking sprites either, which kinda makes me think not every sprite needs a walking animation. But Gobo is used more often then the other sprites, so Support.

My actual suggestion was mainly for an angry face for Gobo. I said it could be a stretch to make a walking costume.

Having a sprite be realistic is the least of scratch worrys. There is already costumes for milk and egg that has legs, so an inflated plant can also surely work in the world of scratch.

I don't like the inconsistencies of the mascots not having all the costumes, they should be all equal. I can also see these sprites getting used a lot and they make sense, so I think Gobo should have a sad face and all mascots have a walking animation.

Post bump, because this is a matter of the utmost importance that requires immediate attention from responsible adults. /sarcasm

Anyway, what I was saying is that ideas cannot be copyrighted. If someone else were to make a block-based coding platform with a cat as its mascot, that would not be infringement – as long as they didn't use poor Tera (and Gobo and Pico and Scratch Cat and Nano and Giga and the logo, but Tera and Gobo are my favorites). A ‘dab’ is basically an idea, so I believe it would fall under the public domain. (Don't take me seriously – I am a stupid 11 year old, not a lawyer.) Besides, there are lots of music videos that have a dab in them that don't get taken down. And it was originally for a NSFW purpose, so I don't think anybody would wanna patent that anyway. Dabs are quite popular, and I have made several projects with Gobo dabbing in them. This would help little kids like my 9-year-old self to make these types of projects, and might just be a fun little part of Scratch lore.
