This might be a silly request and you might not accept it, but I would like any song you can come up with. i am making an OS and I need music for it so would you like to make a song for it? if not its okay.

I would like a song, like a cave story 8-bit type song. Thanks!

(This is for an iTunes-esque thing, right?)
I don't know… I'm much better at making ambient music than making “engaging” songs.

If you want I could give you some of my old songs made for 1-2 pianos… I don't know how exciting they would be though.

On a note to everyone:

I am currently trying to use the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra as the soundfont, and also use some other DAWs to improve the quality.
If you would like the quality to be better than this then you may have to wait.

If this kind of quality is good enough for you, then say so and I will work on yours first. (Of course, in the first request's order.)

I should be able to get the first two songs done by tomorrow though, unless I need to figure out how to improve the sound quality.

Yeah, so you just want music for a music player, not for background music.
Well, since it doesn't matter what kind it is, an old one should do, right?

There're many musicians on Scratch, so I think it'd only be fair if I gave one. I think this one would suffice. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5853402/Songs/SS4t2.wav You should ask for one from AgentRoop.

Okay

I have 5 requests right now. I'll try to do them ASAP, but try not to request anything for now as it may take over two weeks. Maybe.

(Another note, if you haven't given me a length/loop then I'll probably make it under two minutes, maybe even one, and make it loop (if it's a game).)

D:< THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get it to loop perfectly, so there is a like quarter second break after the loop. If you know how to edit audio, could you help me? (I already imported into audacity and then got the break from like 1/2 second of reverb to 1/4 second of silence. I think audacity just adds that bit to the end.)

I also uploaded the midi, which (if you can figure out how to convert to wav or mp3) loops fine.

I have the .wav file, which might not work in Scratch, but converting to .mp3 shouldn't be too hard. Wav has better quality.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5853402/Songs/Desert%20Escape/Desert%20Escape.mid midi
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5853402/Songs/Desert%20Escape/Desert%20Escape.wav wav

I have not created the intro (with the footsteps, wind, drums, etc.) as I'm still trying to find the correct sounds for it…
But that part needs to be included separately anyway as the loop needs to loop.
I think the song I created, even without the intro, might be good enough for a desert platformer.

If there's anything I should change, please let me know. If you want me to rewrite it, I will (but it'll go after the other requests).

So… Right now I'm working on the jetpack joyride-esque song. Maybe I'll have it done tomorrow as I still have to study

So anyone who knows how/can help me make the songs loop properly, help would be greatly appreciated!

exclent! i need a title for each song, and this song reminded me of the instrumental from Les Miserable's “I Dreamed a Dream” so I just called it dream. tell me if you already have a title for it and I'l change it. Thank you!

Dream is fine. My other name was “Super Simple Quartet” abbreviated as SS4t, so Dream is a better name.

Search mp3 to midi convertor, they will help.

Yeah, I'm really, really sorry that I haven't released any songs, summer school started and I've been really busy right now.

I'll try to finish at least two songs tonight, but the funeral march may take some time.

Again, I'm really sorry that I haven't posted any new songs, I feel really bad.

I Don't mind if you don't want me to use it outside of scratch, then I'll find another music source.
This is what it will be for: http://f-l-p.weebly.com/just-run-and-jump.html
It needs to be slow at first, then fast near the end. Like the Jetpack Joyride BGM.
Needs to be approximately 40 seconds long.
Making it slow>fast is something you can do by programming.
I have 20 seconds here, and to make it 40 seconds you can loop it. (Wait do you want it just 40 secs, or a 40 second loop?)
(If it's not a loop, I can probably make it slow to fast)

But I plan on improving it so unless you need it immediately, you should wait.

You have 1 new request.
From: NinjaLinkster
To: Kayybee
Hey there!
So, I have actually been wanting a piece of instrumental music for a while. My dad said he would help me make one but I can guarantee that yours will be better. So, here's what I'm looking for, planning to use it on my YouTube Channel, and I will give credit. Music not needing any time soon, just make in your own time:
So, I was thinking an 8-bit style (if possible) instrumental, maybe about 2/3 mins long? Here is the scenario that I was thinking it could sound like:
Maybe like something that sounds really epic, like, well imagine you're like, a warrior of some sort and you're standing on the edge of a cliff, looking out into the world, sword ready, just about to save the world, the wind gently blowing in your hair. Geez, I might make a better storyteller than music composer. Anyway, so yeah, if you can imagine that. Y'know, some kind of music that a hero might listen to just before going into an epic battle and winning, but 8-bit style.
Hopefully you know what I mean. =3
Looking forward to hearing it,

Hm… Epic warrior, but 8-bit? I don't know how well that would turn out.
Epic warrior music usually requires horns, whether French horns, mellophones, flugelhorns, etc, those are usually needed for that style.

Are you sure you need it to be 8-bit?

Oh, yeah, well, you do have a point. But, I'd kinda like it to stay 8-bit if that's alright with you. Maybe just an 8-bit piece that sounds awesome? Just keep in mind it's 8-bit, the rest is in your hands!
Thanks again

Okay, a plain 8-bit song should be fine.

Should it be fast/slow, happy/sad/angry/etc..?

Ok, um, sorry about that stuff, just forget about the previous stuff, um so, let's start again. I know hardly anything about music at all, so I didn't really know what to put at first.

So, hey there kayybee,
I'd like an upbeat, quick, energetic 8-bit music piece, mostly for use on my YouTube channel.
Could you just make it a cool, retro video-game style 8-bit instrumental piece?
Thanks in advance,
