stop allowing wikipedia to be used as an image host
I don't see why we shouldn't ban imageshack, if they “expire” and get replaced with an advertisement that is a serious problemAlso, imageshack costs If we ban Wikipedia, we should also ban Imageshack, as, according to the Wikimoney. It has been also reported that the images can “expire” over time and be replaced with an advertisement.(src)
There's a topic for that

why do you not support? Not Support
anyway, I support because someone can add/change images to be inappropriate. yes, you can report it or something, but you have to wait for them to respond

I definitely support this, especially considering Wikipedia has topics on everything.
Literally. Everything.
This includes topics not allowed on Scratch, discussing certain anatomy, violence, etc.
So of course there is going to be that one person, or those few people, that do this sort of thing.

Why can't it just be the same as unsupported image hosts? mockup

Support, because maybe let's say, Bob, makes an Easter Project, and Joe views the project. Joe sees something very inappropriate on the page, and reports the project. Wikipedia notices the change in the image, and changes it back. The ST views the project, and doesn't find the image.

To notify people who are unaware of the change. It would probably be changed after some months. Why can't it just be the same as unsupported image hosts? mockup

the bad image will still be stored. Support, because maybe let's say, Bob, makes an Easter Project, and Joe views the project. Joe sees something very inappropriate on the page, and reports the project. Wikipedia notices the change in the image, and changes it back. The ST views the project, and doesn't find the image.

on Wikipedia, and by then I don't think the ST would care at that point.the bad image will still be stored. Support, because maybe let's say, Bob, makes an Easter Project, and Joe views the project. image hosting isn't used for projects, but if it was a forum post and it changed back before the ST sees it then Joe would get an alert for false reporting, so if someone reports a vandalized image then either way somebody's getting an alert, whether the ST sees the vandalized image or not, that's the danger, not to mention that imgur is no longer a supported image host because of inappropriate images, which wikipedia also hason Wikipedia, and by then I don't think the ST would care at that point.the bad image will still be stored. you can't use image hosting on projects, only on forum posts, and the images won't change in projects unless you edit them, in which case Bob would have some explaining to doNot on wikipedia, on the project!on Wikipedia, and by then I don't think the ST would care at that point.the bad image will still be stored.
