It really doesn't take up that much space. And besides- if this suggestion were to get added, I assume it would work in the same way as the forums- with the link anyway, taking up the same amount of space.

And besides, if you run out of space, just use a reply.

I like comments the way they are. If someone wants to share an image, they can try to send an image link, if that's allowed.

That is a fair point although comments are not used to discuss in a way dismilar to the forums. Some responses e.g. mockups and screenshots of unexpected code results improve what is avaliable.

While yes, this exists on the forums, there are a lot more users who have posted a comment than those who have posted a forum post.
