I am suggesting to add a report menu to your own content, such as comments and projects. The menu would be different, and would instead ask you what you want the Scratch Team to look at. You might think this feature would be pretty useless, but it's a great way to make sure your project is OK for everyone. Sometimes, asking if a project is OK on the forums would expose everyone to what you've created, and if it is bad, then you're basically just promoting it by asking that question. It would probably use the same reporting system, just with different prompts. Also, there will probably be some sort of restriction on how much you can report your own projects, to prevent the report menu from being flooded.

You can circumvent this by using Contact-Us

Good point. But then again, contact us takes much longer to get a response from. I'd like it to be easier.

if you posted personal info or anything you regret, you should be able to have the ST remove it for you. I don't see a reason why using it for comments.

What do you expect? The report feature takes time too, both from the effect of the pandemic. Good point. But then again, contact us takes much longer to get a response from. I'd like it to be easier.
I forgot 'bout that…if you posted personal info or anything you regret, you should be able to have the ST remove it for you. I don't see a reason why using it for comments.

Reporting something takes maybe a few days, while contact us can take multiple months.

Good point. But then again, is this common? Reporting something takes maybe a few days, while contact us can take multiple months.

For people like me, who tend to accidentally break the guidelines from time to time, yes.

Also, this should be a feature on unshared projects too. That way, if the project is inappropriate, nobody except the scratch team will see it.

I completely understand your reasoning for this suggestion. However…
Could you please give me a reason why you would need to report an unshared project that you made? Also, this should be a feature on unshared projects too. That way, if the project is inappropriate, nobody except the scratch team will see it.

Because, if you don't want to expose other scratchers to something that could potentially be bad, you can report your own unshared project so that no scratcher will see it until it's approved.

Ah, yes, that makes sense. Because, if you don't want to expose other scratchers to something that could potentially be bad, you can report your own unshared project so that no scratcher will see it until it's approved.

You can already do this, click delete on the comment and click report when it asks you if you are sure.

You can only do that on your own projects and your profile page. It won't work on studios and other's profile pages/projects. You can already do this, click delete on the comment and click report when it asks you if you are sure. Don't know if this works on 3.0 pages.

It will work on studios you manage as well. But it would be good to have this for everything else. You can only do that on your own projects and your profile page. It won't work on studios and other's profile pages/projects. You can already do this, click delete on the comment and click report when it asks you if you are sure. Yeah, I knew that work around. But you can't report your own projects without an alt account, and using an alt account would confuse the scratch team.

Yeah, and that'd be easier to make sure that you aren't breaking a community guidline you don't know about/forgot about.
Edit: And I wouldn't call it a self report (Ooh Among Us xD) i'd call it a “Guidline Check” or something like that.

It’s still gonna be called reporting, it’s just that you can do it to yourself and it has a different menu
