I’m not suggesting REVERTING the layout.
I think it would be a good idea for an option to make the studio layout more similar to the previous one.
The current layout is very intimidating and oversized, and looking at it feels a bit stressful since it gives the feeling of being “towered over”. For people who like the current design they can keep the new one, but an option to view studios in a design more like the previous one would be a good idea. The new features of studios would be the same, the design would just be different. It could be compared to using the older versions of the editor.
EDIT: THIS IS NOT REJECTED. What is rejected is reverting the whole entire update. I’m just suggesting an option to change the LAYOUT. And this would be a personal setting applying to all studios, not a choice for the studio owner.

Support, if I could revert it would help with the sensory overload.

No support for the reason we”d have to be able to revert all 3.0 to 2.0 or 1.x, and rejected anyway lmao

Hey, I love this idea! Unlike the editor which we couldn't work around and most of us adapted to; this would be possible! It would make teh site a little more complicated to run but since studios ran fine on HTML and other stuff, I give my full support.

No, that's concerning the editor and main site of scratch. This suggestions i NOT rejected in any way at all.

I saw someone saying that, but it isn't actually applicable here. Also this topic which suggests reverting it is still open and has many pages of discussion.

An option to change the layout is also completely different, but is unlikely to happen considering the old one was already admin restricted.

This is a different suggestion.
That’s suggesting for them to undo the change, this is suggesting for an option to view the site with a different layout, akin to a different website theme.

i support this and no this is not rejected, the mentioned rejected suggestion is “going back to 2./1. website”, which would be impossible because it would break a lot of 3. projects and 2. runs on flash which was deleted for unknown reasons, but this is just changing the style to look like an older version of 3., not to actually revert the update. reverting the update is rejected for also unknown reasons, but reverting the appearance of the update has not specifically been rejected. if the st did reject this though, it would cause many issues, mentioned in this thread already, with the design being way too big, bright, and saturated.

Guys, it's not rejected. It's not asking to toggle between updates, it's asking to toggle between layouts

If the appearance was different for different people, it would be difficult for people to teach others things. Imagine trying to teach someone to use something that looks completely different then what you're using.
