Getting Scratch Link on chromebook for microbits?

Hi,

you don't need Scratch Link on a chrome book, but you do need a special Scratch app. If you use that official Scratch app you can make Scratch projects and connect your micro:bit to Scratch.

you can get it find out how at scratch.mit.edu/microbit

you can go to the play store and search scratch and click install and go to the hex file from scratch and then open scratch and add the microbit extation
and your microbit shoud pop up

I faced the same issue while developing a robotics programmable car, the issue is I want it to work with Android phones/tablets.
Luckily for me EPS32 has WiFi also unlike nRF51822, so I was able to connect directly from browser using websockets instead of the BLE link application. The result is, its much faster, the connection does not drops unlike the BLE method, where its take some time to connect, and drops randomly.

I think so chromebook version of scratch link is not yet made and also the hardware is lighter.

@hackatronics you can istall scratch on you android device and the method for chome book will work on android tablets
