On my profile (my location is set to São Tomé and Principé), it just says Sao Tome and Principe.
The real country name is São Tomé and Principé.

But is all countries in English spelling? England doesn't have accents, so that is why this does not have accents.

São Tomé and Principé is the correct way to write São Tomé and Principé, not Sao Tome and Principe, and this fix would not take a long time to add to Scratch.

I don't have much to say other than making this quick change would be considerate to São Toméans. It shouldn't be hard to implement this change.

On one hand I get where this is coming from, but at the same time this is such a minor thing that regardless of how it is spelled should not cause any form of confusion. And, of course, there's the issue of consistency.
