I would like it if the scratch team could extend studio description character limits. My TF2 RPG studio's description would benefit deeply from this, as the rules of the studio are too long to fit in the description and are being edited and revised all the time. Also, as new players join the studio from time I have to put their names in, and also how much RPG money they have and the number of crates they have. I do not want to delete anything from the description. If anybody else has problems with their studio description length please post in this topic explaining your demise so the scratch team sees how needed expanding studio description length is. I apologize if this post is awkwardly worded, and also thank you in advance.

Support! It gets really annoying when you have a manager chat. See below:

Day 1: rules and stuff in the description and you have an empty manager chat.
Day 2: rules and stuff in the description and you have a manager chat with 3 things.
Day 3: rules and stuff in the description and you have a manager chat with 10 things.
Day 7: rules and stuff in the description and you have a full manager chat, so you need to refresh. But then you reply to someone who put something in pre-refresh, and people get confused.

THAT'S WHY IT'S ANNOYING!!!!!

IT is, and I have full support. It is especially hard when having RP or large collab studios, you have to move everything to a seperate studio, or even to a forum.

Yes, there is a limit. Once I had a very long studio description that kept expanding and it reached a point where it said “Description too long!”.

Eh. Its already extremely long.

First tell me what the limit is, then I support or no support.

I think it might be 20,000, but who would need to type that much in a studio, anyway? I have never hit the limit, nor did I know there was one. I'm not sure why–if there is one–why it's not displayed.

That post is six years old. Please be constructive by not pestering people for six year old posts made in a time when those kinds of posts were the norm.

I think that you won't ever run into this unless you make it really long. You can combine similar words, remove sections, and delete information to shorten it.

No support. The limit is already very high, over 10,000 characters. Just combine words and remove unneeded info.

Trust me, it's very annoying when you have reached a character limit and have to shorten or at least for me

Full support, if you are having a large collaboration with many characters to write about and stuff you will need more than the limit.
