Editing scratch comments!

I think that scratchers should be able to edit comments as we can forum posts. There should also be a button showing “Show Editing History” (thanks theonlygusti!)

Hmm, count me as a semi-supporter, I think you should only be able to edit them a little, like five characters a comment, other than that, no support.

This is what I was afraid would happen. So,
a. only scratchers will be able to do this.
b. People can do it on the forums, so why not on comments?

I would support, but looking at it in a different way makes me tend towards no support:

The reason you cannot delete your own comments on other projects and profiles is because you could post a troll comment, and then delete it before the ST can see it.

For this reason, editing your comments should also be disallowed.

However, I have come up with a solution: on each comment there can be a “see edit history button”, which then shows you all stages of the comment, each edit and the original post.

Wow, great thinking, but wouldn't that take a lot of space if people edited their comments all the time?

Yeah, personally, I don't support.

There could be a time limit on editing comments though.
