A lot of us live across the pond here in the United States, therefore we don't understand what the kingdoms of the U.K are. Stop going against UK people we deserve our rights

They were only able to declare themselves independent because Moscow let them. I think a better way to think of the U.K is like republics of the former USSR. They were governed by Moscow, but they were able to declare themselves independent from the USSR in 1991. Is the U.K like that?

Is it also like the relationship between Hong Kong and China? Hong Kong is governed by Beijing, but they have some power to rule themselves.Yes it is. I know it wouldn't be rocket science to implement but I know it has to be harder than typing 4 words.Adding an option isn't that hard butFor you? Sure. It is easier to click something then write like 4 words or so. But what about for the devs who'll have to make this an option? It will just be easier though to have it as an option[…] it looks like every country on the list needs a two-letter ISO 3166-1 code so this is probably not possible.
Yep, because a random kid from the US saying that there doesn't need to be a separate option for England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland in a small spot on your profile and that it isn't that hard of a workaround to type 4 words directly under where that small spot is in an attempt to possibly make a point is going against people who live in the UK and taking away their rights. Stop going against UK people we deserve our rights
I've been thinking about this a lot, I'm not saying this is happening because I could just be looking at this wrong, but do you think that some of the people who live in the UK could just feel like there's more a difference than there is and that's where this argument mainly lies? And I see that the Americans are generally against this suggestion, but the people from the UK are all for it. I think I know more about my own country than you do.

Isn't Taiwan also on the list? I don't get why they won't give a simple split with the UK. I don't think that a little drop-down menu would cause any chaos. And Hong Kong is on the list!Is it also like the relationship between Hong Kong and China? It is not like that relationship Mainland China thinks they are parts of China while most people outside china think they should be independent

There is a diference between wanting to have a vote then leave legally to get full recognition and leaving a country ilegally so that you aren't fully recognised. What I'm saying is never leaving a country is not the same as leaving the country without the country recognising you And some people in lots of countries and areas, including Scotland think they should be independant, so I don't get your point
