I agree with this. I don't own a class account personally, but I definitely think it's NOT a good idea to just give out information like that. I also don't think they should get deleted when the teacher deletes the class, but that's a topic for another, uhm… topic. XD

Yeah. I have a school account that is my first initial, last name, and the letter s, which I am fine with, but others may not be. I think that this would be a good idea, but I also think that it should always be visible to teachers and people in the class. In my opinion, it would just hide it from other users. Also, maybe the teacher could have the ability to disable it for whatever reason because teachers should be in charge of their student's accounts.

I suppose they could have it so it just says Student I think that would be a lot better than the current system. Also, I know on a language learning website our teacher made us include our real name but I just but my surname and first initial because I have a hard to indentify as a surname surname. It should maybe say to Teacher Accounts when creating student accounts to not include a students name as many people have said the Teachers use there real names. I think there needs to be overall safety revision to student accounts to be fair

Yes… but they could just not be active on that account (except for what they have to do for class) then make a new account and be active on that one…. no one would have to know that the class account belongs to the new account.

Interesting, I think this would be a good addition since some classes might show the school name or the school location. Maybe the user could choose whether or not to display their class to outside users, but it'll be visible to your classmates and teacher. It can also be the teacher's choice to either not display it to anyone but them, display it only to the classmates, or to display it to everyone.

When you are a scratcher who is in a class, your class is publicly displayed on your profile. This can pose a privacy issue as if you are active in the community, people will see your profile and they may be able to find out your city or state. I think there should be a option to toggle this either on the students profile or the teachers, preferably both. If this is already a feature, please report this to be closed as I don't know much about teacher/student accounts.
Support. I agree.

Yeah, people could possibly need to use their real full name for class, I've seen some school accounts with seemingly real usernames

But maybe teachers could chose public or private in the class settings I don't know if that's a thing if not, in the teacher's account settings
There are class settings
