I don't see why it had to take so long. Why does it take a whole year to just upload some source code?
It was a bit of a doozy in the past year or so, particularly because of Flash updates that caused Scratch 2.0 to fail in some areas (the most notable being the loss of PixelBender).

Open Scratch 1.4 and Shift+Click the R in Scratch. If you have opened the Scratch image in a complete version of Squeak, you can access the source code from there. Awesomeness! Does anyone know if the scratch 1.4 source code is anywhere?
