How can I be popular?

If you think Scratch is about being famous then Scratch is not for you. The entire point of Scratch is to learn how to code and create projects. Scratch will never be about fame.
finally someone who gets it

Don't listen to all the “scratch isn't about fame posts”, because it is
that's a start, idk really
but scratch isn´t about fame, it´s about learning to code, if you think otherwise, you are just fame hungry
that's the point. but ever heard of a meta? the meta of scratch is get famous. scratch is about fame. nobody can change my mind on that.
the meta does not mean what it's intended for. Take the roblox game “Tradelands” for example. The meta for a piracy ship is a ship called a “Taipan”, which is basically just a small, really fast ship with a decent cargo capacity. Did the devs make the Taipan for piracy? Nope, it was meant as a multi-purpose junk ship (aka really fast, even cross/upwind).
but scratch isn't a game, there is no single purpose for every user, for some users (like me) the purpose is to learn to code well and for some users (like (removed by moderator - please keep it polite)) the purpose is to get famous
You know, i'd like if followers got removed. all they do is cause drama and competition within scratch.

The only reason this is happening is that you are being fame hungry.

the point of this topic was to give tips to someone on how to get followers, but nobody wants to answer that question.

I think that's enough on whether Scratch is about fame or something else.

What motivates you on Scratch is up to you. But be aware that you don't have to use “fame” as a motivator unless you choose to do so. Learning to do something that you didn't know how to do can also be a motivator. Making friends can be a motivator. Creating something that you are proud of can be a motivator.
