The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
???Um… ok.No, but it's kind of a boring suggestion. would hiring more scratch team members be rejected?Of course we are hiring more Scratch Team members (in fact, the Jobs link shows some openings).
But there's always issues with hiring. First of all, anyone who joins the Scratch Team should probably want to join the Scratch Team — that is, if no one applies, then we can't hire anybody. …

At the bottom of the screen, where it says “english”, click that and select Russian. Hope this helps, Nebula Hello!
I've been using Scratch for a long time. And it worries me a lot that there is no support for Russian keyboard input to control the game. I teach Scratch to children and it is very difficult for them to get used to switching languages.
Will this be fixed?
Unfortunately, this is not the case.
Let me explain. If I program the movement for WASD, then using the Russian keyboard layout, I will not be able to control the character. And so with the entire Russian layout. Agree, changing the layout every time to play the game is quite inconvenient.

7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted contentUhm, you already implemented that long ago.
Scratch is designed for ages 8 to 16, but any content shared on the website must be appropriate for all ages. Dividing the community by making a separate, age-restricted website would not be helpful. Potential restrictions from entering the website (such as a warning, or requiring a parent to answer math equations) would not necessarily stop an underage child from entering the 13+ website.
This suggestion extends to age-restricting anything on Scratch, such as viewing specific projects. As a general rule, content shared on the Scratch website should be appropriate for all ages.
Remember NFE projects?

NFE projects are still viewable by everyone, they just can't get featured or show up in search. Plus you can't know if a project is NFE.7.2 A 13+ version of the Scratch website or age-restricted contentUhm, you already implemented that long ago.

But i think this could still be usefull for the scratch browser which was blocked because it “bypasses parental controls”.

Is this rejected? I saw a post about it in a studio and it seemed pretty cool. A duplicate sensor, where if you remix it wont let you share until you change something, to avoid the outstanding amount of exact copies.

I don't believe that is rejected, but I think it might have already been suggested. You should try finding that suggestion and continue the discussion there. Is this rejected? Scratch isn't a browser. Blocked? Bypasses parental controls? I'm confused. It was rejected because it would divide the community, and there is NO way to confirm someone is 13+But i think this could still be usefull for the scratch browser which was blocked because it “bypasses parental controls”. “Scratch is designed for ages 8 to 16, but any content shared on the website must be appropriate for all ages. Perhaps you should add a note to the 13+ Scratch section explaining why Scratch Jr. exists but not 13+ Scratch.

I think 6.5 should be removed; pretty much everybody has forgotten about the eggplant emoji and thus there hasn't been any suggestions to bring it back this past year at all as far as I can tell.

Well, it's still a rejected suggestion, and that's what this list is for.I really don't see a need either I think 6.5 should be removed; pretty much everybody has forgotten about the eggplant emoji and thus there hasn't been any suggestions to bring it back this past year at all as far as I can tell.
If we remove just that one, we might as well just remove every old rejected suggestion.
There's a reason it's listed right here.

I think that might be a good idea. Anyone else have thoughts? I think 6.5 should be removed; pretty much everybody has forgotten about the eggplant emoji and thus there hasn't been any suggestions to bring it back this past year at all as far as I can tell.
Scratch Jr. is a completely separate thing, though. It's not comparable to an “age-restricted version of Scratch.” What sort of explanation were you looking for? Perhaps you should add a note to the 13+ Scratch section explaining why Scratch Jr. exists but not 13+ Scratch.

I think it's a good idea and I haven't seen it either but maybe you can collapse it into “add back old or bring new emojis” since I see new emojis often.I think that might be a good idea.
