forum icons

the little icons next to forum topics look too similar. the “new posts” one isn't visually different than the “closed topic” one. i suggest making them two different colors. perhaps make the “closed topic” one grey?

I can make new icons entirely…they don't really fit the forum's theme currently.

oh and also, the titles of closed topics should be greyed out like in the old forums. it's not clear when something's closed.

Sounds great - I don't have any attachment to the default Djangobb ones.

.inew {background:url(../img/active_topic.png)}
.sticky {background:url(../img/sticky_topic.png)}
.closed + .tclcon a {color: #aaa}

I'll make a patch which implements closed sticky if you want (you don't have to use it).

Cool - you rock! For the record, want to add a circled “i” for ITopics (will we even have those in 2.0? haven't seen any on the alpha forums).

Awesome! We do sometimes close stickies that are announcements that aren't to be commented upon - sometimes with elections and what not, so that's nice.

One thing - closed topics could be a tad more contrasty, at least in the sticky case but maybe in general.
