When someone shares something that is against another person’s identity, we see that as unfriendly and unwelcoming. As members of the Scratch community, Scratch Team members create and share projects about topics important to us, and for some of us, that includes sharing LGBTQ-related projects. And we hope this will inspire other Scratchers to create content about topics that are important to their lives.

In regards to concerns about the recent feature of a “Pride Month” related project. We chose to feature this because it was a project related to a current event, Pride Month, which is important to many people on Scratch. Moreover, the project had a supportive message and expressed the desire of a group to be treated with the same dignity and respect as members of any other group - which we think is a cornerstone of the Scratch Community. The decision to feature a project about a current event is not unique. In fact, we often feature projects related to events that are important to many Scratchers. This includes holidays like Christmas, Easter, Lunar New Year, Hanukkah, and Ramadan and events like the beginning of school or Pi Day. We appreciate that Scratchers can remain respectful of the many diverse events and holidays celebrated on Scratch even when some events aren’t important to some individuals.

I think the following pretty much implies that:

Potential restrictions from entering the website (such as a warning, or requiring a parent to answer math equations) would not necessarily stop an underage child from entering the 13+ website.

There are also plenty of reasons that this suggestion is rejected, so I'm not sure if it's necessary to add that, although straight-up rejecting your request seems a little weird.

Is there a reason you'd like me to add this phrase?

basically the project is immediately shared so everyone can see it, this way if there was something bad it could be reported, but only 2-3 people could work on it and they would both be scratchers

Here's a fairly old example. Not sure if it's the oldest as it's not closed but I see this suggested a lot and it always gets closed.

Okay, so it occurred to me that it doesn't make sense to mention “private studios” under a section labelled “project pages.” So if I mentioned that private studios were rejected, then I would have to make a new entry. But the link provided above is not sufficient because it was not evidently closed by a Scratch Team member.

Point systems are basically achievements or digital currency though.

I’ve seen chat rooms with certain people (such as a user’s friend and cousin chat room) and no one else can enter. Does this apply to private studios on Scratch?
