you should be able to adjust the volume of projects manually instead of having to change the volume of your computer

Or just muting the tab or something.
Yep, that would be pretty useful (maybe I could write a userscript that automatically mutes the project when (removed by moderator - please don't name the user) is credited for the music

Sure, but I like to listen to music in the background . . . constantly, so it wouldn't work as I play the music from my browser. can't you just adjust the volume of your browser?

Not all projects are going to need volume control, and if you do want to have volume control, it should take like 5 minutes (or an hour if you want it to be a sophisticated one) to create an interactive volume control system within the project.I mean when viewing them, not when creating them. But most people don't do that. And I also don't want to do that. You could just go in and delete the sounds, I don't find it annoying at all. But I see how it could be hard, but just turn down your computer volume and turn up your volume on whatever you use. (Such as youtube)

a lot of people don't do that and thats inconvenient since you have to put it into any project you want a volume control in Not all projects are going to need volume control, and if you do want to have volume control, it should take like 5 minutes (or an hour if you want it to be a sophisticated one) to create an interactive volume control system within the project.
i feel like people are spending too much time all of their time focusing on workarounds than the actual suggestion itself

bump
i had to manually make a volume bar for one of my projects, which made me have to recode an entire thing
why should i have to do that just to make my ears not hurt when im doing multiple things

You can change the windows volume? Which browser has that? Anyway support, I sometimes want to listen to music on Scratch in the background while watching a video or something, but the music doesn't let me hear the video perfectlyjust move the tab to a different window, then adjust the volume of that windowSure, but I like to listen to music in the background . . . constantly, so it wouldn't work as I play the music from my browser. can't you just adjust the volume of your browser?

Duplicate, I believe.
Also, the Scratch team may be considering this idea in the future? I'm not sure though. There's also this mockup thing:

Right click the tab and select mute tab.Are you talking about “mute site”? That mutes all Scratch tabs, which can be pretty annoying.
