Over the past week, I have seen quite a few people give out their email, which is unmoderated chat. I think that this format of post should be censored:
name@emailprovider.domainending (Thank you Ieahcimto, my original was to censor the words, like “gmail”)

Support, but might as well ban “Hotmail” “iCloud” etc.

Yeah, and “comcast” (I have a comcast email). I'll add that to the OP.

Semi-Support, the would help keep Scratchers from giving out their emails. But someone might need to talk about iCloud for some reason, it isn't just an email provider.

Yup! This is to censor all major email providers. (And most minor ones)

Maybe if their friend got an Apple device and wanted to tell them about iCloud drive or something like that.

Well this is kinda like discord. Someone could just say "Hey I saw this thing on discord " and discord is still blocked.

What if a user needs to know what email provider somebody uses to help solve a bug/glitch? Maybe just blacklist it if it has @(provider).com?

Why would someone need to know that…

Then they could just contact ST or resend it.

I still think it should be @(provider).com, just in case someone does need to tell his email provide.

I don't support, as it wouldn't always work. For example, my email uses my own domain, rather than something like gmail. There are also thousands of email providers out there, so people could just make dummy accounts with ones that aren't blacklisted yet and use them to get out their actual emails.

Total support. This would really help cut down on unmoderated chat links. Anyway, for the people saying “what about custom domains”, we don't need to censor all of them. People will still find ways, just like how instead of discord, you can type d1scord d iscord dlscord, etc. This will only cut down the number, not vanquish it.

Also, I thought of a workaround. Someone could use 10minmail and paste that link, and in that temporary inbox, they could give out their real email (if it is blocked by the filter bot)

Most people just use gmail or another major provider.

Doesn't mean all of them do
