Vector circles have cut-off edges
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.11.6, Safari 11.1.2, Flash 32.0 (release 0)
When I make a circle or ellipse in the costume editor in vector mode, it has clipped edges, by which I mean, the sides are partially straight in places, like so:

I was trying to use a direct image link, but it said I have to use imageshack for that, and you have to pay for an account on that.

I'm having this same issue, only I noticed it on a curved section of a line.
(I also don't have an imageshack account, but picture a tombstone shape where the curved top part gets slightly cut off, lol)
I know this initial post is pretty old, but did you ever find a solution to this?

Vector circles have cut-off edges
I've found several posts in this forum about this issue but none of them ever received any replies, I was hoping reviving this post might finally get people to discuss this issue, but I guess not.
I have, however, found a sort of workaround. I played around a bit and determined that this issue is caused by scratch doing some sort of auto-cropping of a vector sprite, which in the case of curved objects, is frequently inaccurate and results in the edges being cut off. My fix for this (although I'm not sure how this would affect people using these sprites for more intensive coding related to the shape of the sprite itself, such as collision detection) is to make a small mark just in front of the part of the sprite that is getting cut off. You can set its color to be alpha/invisible so you don't see the stray mark. This mark shifts the auto-crop of the sprite outwards, so the crop no longer intersects with the art of your sprite.
Hope this workaround helps anyone having this issue.

I'm not really on Scratch anymore, I just hop on every once in a while to see if anything interesting has happened.

Vector circles have cut-off edges
This is because of the way scratch crops images before displaying them. A fix is to add a blank(no color) square covering anything bigger than your sprite.

Bump. This is a common issue, not an isolated one! I have seen many other similar bug reports about this bug in the BaG forum and this seems to be the oldest one.
I bumped it and I'm not going to let this topic die!

Use cubeupload. I was trying to use a direct image link, but it said I have to use imageshack for that, and you have to pay for an account on that.

The original poster is probably inactive. So, I replaced the picture while quoting it. Use cubeupload.

No, it's a common issue. Refreshing the page won't help. Try refreshing the page

Actually, I don't think there is a need for any discussion. What is there to discuss? workarounds? It is a common bug faced by all users and is pretty easy to reproduce. Workarounds exist, but wouldn't it be better to fix the bug rather than to "try" to spread the word regarding the workaround!

yes, not sure if it's a priority, but is a common bug. Two years have passed, the bug remained

Just put a few invisible shapes around/inside the circle and it will look fine!

That is a workaround, it is still a Just put a few invisible shapes around/inside the circle and it will look fine!common bug that can be EASILY replicated.
