I can't say that's ever happened to me. Then again, I rarely try to look for users and haven't for years. So that add's more merit to that suggestion, but it doesn't make me fully support the suggestion, so I'm still a Semi-Support on that one.

hey i like this, i also imagine it can't be too hard to implement and it'd be super useful for when i forget how many dashes are in someone's name.

perhaps the user search could follow some kind of algorithm to show active users further up?

eg. a search for explosion should give me the person exactly with explosion as a name and –explosion– because they're quite active

This urgently needs to be implemented. It was removed several years ago for no apparent reason. It is a big inconvenience that one cannot search for another user's profile without searching for their projects or using a custom search engine.

My only modification to your mockup would be to include follower count.

Hmm.. maybe a “Most Active to Least Active” dropdown?

B - This is the main reason, follower count shouldn't matter, and it shouldn't be as important as many people think it is.

This suggestion has nothing to do with the discuss tab… I'm not suggesting it to be brought back at all.

The reason the discuss tab is in the mock-up is because of my userstyle.

The bar is on the forums page, so I don't see any way of it not being seperate.

Many users have requested for a function to search users (including other topics), and it might be beneficial for people wanting to search up other people. So, I support that.

I do not support for searching content in the forums to be in the main search. If it were to be implemented, many more people will know that the forums exist, and many Scratchers would blockspam, emojispam and necropost left and right. I would support the searching of forum topics being added to the Scratch Website if it is not in the main search and under a forums URL.
