Ban this phrase
I have seen people typing please don't ban me for this: “lmao” which has a bad word in it ( the letter a stands for something–) . The bad word censer does not go off when you type this, and I think it should.
I mean, who wants bad words on Scratch?
Yeah!

Yeah I think this should be blocked, because a lot of people say it so much that they don't realize it's not appropriate for Scratch!

I support, as I didn't know what It meant and had to google it a few months back, and you don't want any small children doing that,

Then why isn't it on the blacklist? This is actually a reportable offense already.

Probably because it would cause a lot of issues, The ST has definitely seen this suggestion before, as a suggestion about blacklisting common abreviations that have bad words was 404'dThen why isn't it on the blacklist? This is actually a reportable offense already.

So, is this a suggestion to add that phrase to the blacklist? If so, then I support, because it's already a reportable offence, so the ST may as well stop it from happening in the first place.
The ST can easily add those workarounds to the blacklist as well. They already add the workarounds for other swear words to the blacklist (Not that I've tried it- I don't swear and I know the rules. I just heard this somewhere.) so they can easily add these. This word also has common workarounds: Imao lnnao Innao lma0 Inna0, etc -a lot of snips-

Support. The a stands for something inappropriate for Scratch, so I'm surprised that this isn't blacklisted already. You can always use the more appropriate alternative “lmbo”.

Its a pretty common phase in the internet, and the “a” word technically isnt a swear word, but it still isnt kid-friendly, so, Yeah I think this should be blocked, because a lot of people say it so much that they don't realize it's not appropriate for Scratch!

the B alternative IIRC is allowed, as the B in this case means “butt”, a more friendlier term than the A word. The B could still mean something bad… Support. No support, sorry. As said above the “a-word” isn't actually a swear word, plus you're not directly saying it. It's hard enough to express yourself with all the limitations of Scratch, and if these kids are on the internet, which they would have to be to access Scratch, they'd most definitely run into this acronym elsewhere.

While the A word in this context isn't a swear word, the majority of children are taught that it is, so on Scratch it isn't allowed. No support, sorry. There are site blockers, safesearch, and if children are young enough to be offended by this phrase they won't be likley to have accounts on sites that allow bad words. For example, I don't want my brother to ask me what this means and have to tell him because I wouldn't say the word myself. Anyhow, would you consider an acronym for another very-bad-word not directly saying it? No support, sorry. As said above the “a-word” isn't actually a swear word, plus you're not directly saying it.
