Every time I try to open one of my projects that I haven't opened on the last time I was on scratch it has come up failed to load. Please help me stop this.

make a variable and make the sprite hide when you hit the green flag and make it set the variable too whatever then when you want it too come in the game brodcast a message when an event happens in the stage or another sprite then back too the sprite that comes at a later time put in when i receive message (what you called the message here) set variable too something else and put a when green flag clicked forever and if (variable) = (what you set it too) then show then you can make it do other stuff hoped this helps

Go to the help with scripts forum and ask for help, the people there will be plenty happy to help.
