No support. I wouldn't want to have to dig through blocks like
define moo
say [Moo]
to find something useful.
There would be a report button and maybe a search box.
But that isn't reportable, it is still a legitimate block that isn't inappropriate. It just isn't generally as useful, and there's no way a block would have to qualify as “useful”.

And a search function wouldn't necessarily be useful.
I want a custom block about “moving”.
define move
move (10) steps

I want a custom block about “drawing circles”.
define circle
repeat (36)
turn cw (10) degrees
Gr…

Perhaps only a select few would be able to add custom blocks, kinda like wiki editors?

Maybe there could be a date saying when the block was submitted, like a share date, to prevent theft.

Only Scratchers.

Ah, Scratch Resources nostalgia.

Support. But here are some ideas:

1. Maybe we could have two sections: All, and Popular. All would have all the block people submitted, and Popular would have the most liked blocks, which brings me to number 2.

2. There could be a feature to “Like” blocks as used in idea 1.

3. We could have a “Search” feature, which displays them in the order of idea 1.

4. A “Report” feature for useless blocks, or inappropriate ones. Welp, looks like no one likes this.

5. Only Scratchers and Scratch Team members can add.

Report button–there's nothing wrong with that script, is there? It's just not relevant.
Search box–Still will be overflowing.

That would be somewhat hard, if anyone were able to upload, there could be just spam ones, and it'd be pretty hard to find good ones/ones that you need.

True… maybe there could be an option to report them? This would also be useful if either the script was named inappropriately or the variables in the script were named inappropriately.
I'm talking about even ones that are fine, but only contain a few blocks (like say something and then move somewhere)

Support. These would clog up the servers.

I just read all of these and maybe you can love/fav the custom blocks and u scroll down and the most loved/faved blocks go near the top while spam ones and stuff like that will probably not be at the top.

4. A “Report” feature for useless blocks,
But that's impossible, because different people think that different things are useless.

What I'm saying is, you don't need someone to help you make a sprite say Hi. It's one of the easiest things to do on Scratch.

You could make a studio for Community Blocks and include projects that have your preferred custom blocks.

Easy =/= Not Useful

There's probably never going to be a feature in Scratch where something can be removed on the grounds of “Not Useful” or “Unnecessary” or “Easy to Do”, because that would ruin the whole point of Scratch.
