question about reporting.
Sometimes when I report something, I noticed that there are options like,
i dont like this project
this project does not work
this project is too hard
ect…
what are these for exactly?

question about reporting.
It's for the scratch team to see what is actually wrong with the project. If they just got a message like “@Scratcher reported project Project” and there was no way for the Scratch team to see the project (the Scratch team is busy, especially now with COVID-19) then the options would make it easier for the Scratch Team to see that the project broke the Community Guidelines for a specific reason. That is why those options are there.

If you click on them, a popup will come up saying that it's not right to report someone because you don't like their project, the project is hard etc. and says to leave some constructive feedback instead. The report is not sent to the Scratch Team.
Kind of ninja'd :P

They changed both the project reporting and email reporting recently. Sometimes when I report something, I noticed that there are options like,
i dont like this project
this project does not work
this project is too hard
etc…
what are these for exactly?

Those are decoys. Mass reporting has been trendy lately. When you report for no good reason, you'll receive an alert at the top of your messages that ask you to only report things that are against the Community Guidelines.

Basically traps made by the Scratch ‘team’ to try and get more people banned for getting mass alerts for mass reporting!

I have confirmed, that the reports are not sent to the st, but rather will tell the user to be constructive.
(i dont think the st would do that) Basically traps made by the Scratch ‘team’ to try and get more people banned for getting mass alerts for mass reporting!

Yeah, then the user gets a message telling them to not report a project just because they don't like it I have confirmed, that the reports are not sent to the st, but rather will tell the user to be constructive.(i dont think the st would do that) Basically traps made by the Scratch ‘team’ to try and get more people banned for getting mass alerts for mass reporting!

You don't get banned for selecting any of those options you just get a message encouraging people to give constructive criticism to the project's creator instead of reporting it. Basically traps made by the Scratch ‘team’ to try and get more people banned for getting mass alerts for mass reporting!

Actually, I believe it is there to cut down on the number of projects that are reported for unnecessary reasons. A lot of Scratchers don't fully understand when Report should be used - this helps educate them and cuts down on the amount of unhelpful reports we have to process - and helps reduce erroneous project take-downsYeah, then the user gets a message telling them to not report a project just because they don't like it I have confirmed, that the reports are not sent to the st, but rather will tell the user to be constructive.(i dont think the st would do that) Basically traps made by the Scratch ‘team’ to try and get more people banned for getting mass alerts for mass reporting!
