We have been hearing reports that Scratch Link has stopped working on some computers. In some cases you might see an error message mentioning a certificate problem, and in others there might not be any error message at all. We are currently working on a fix for the problem and also working to prevent this from happening again in the future. As soon as we can, we'll release a new version of Scratch Link with these changes so you can start using Scratch with your hardware devices again. Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the trouble!

Update 7/10/20

The issue has been resolved! The “direct download” versions of Scratch Link have been updated on our website. However, the Mac App Store and Microsoft Store versions are still in review. So that will take a bit more time to get out. Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Recently, I tried to see how to add tags, and it was WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too complicated. And the only response from the scratch team was “cuz it wasn't widely used.” aren't updates supposed to add new features? the only real features added were a better, more modern layout, but they didn't even bother to put it on most things! *, guys?!?!? I know the switch from Flash to WebGL (a type of html5(correct me if i'm wrong)) was a pretty big thing, but besides that, they were lazy! Inspecting the page and typing blah blah blah into the console is the most convenient way in scratch team's mind, i guess.

it might make our sight look bad, but we're too lazy to care - scratch team.

can we get scratch on the 3ds or wii u internet browsers? That would be awesome! (This is obviously a joke but this would be cool)

Hello! It seems to me that they have it under control, I reckon maybe a few weeks until its released? The Scratch Link application has caused problems for users before, why not have Scratch link on the actual website?

Last time I cant log in scratch say server maintenance

EDIT: I clicked on the last post link, and it says “you don't have the user rights to view this page” so it is happening to me. It says nothing about a certificate issue though.
