The SDS curators behave so badly with other Scratchers on the studio. Also, we cannot rely on their words always, too. They say something one day, and say something other another day. They also take the fact that they are SDS curators as credit and start showing-off. Writing it in the signature on the forums or the profile is one thing, and behaving arrogantly is another thing.

The thing is, it's not very creative. Most of them have the same thumbnail etc, because it's not encouraging you to come up with ideas, it's literally giving you a project and making you remix it.

What was good:

• I didn't even know there were starter projects on Scratch, so it made me find out.
  
• It's very easy to make a project for it, most design studios have a long explanation and this one was quite a break since you can just remix.

What could be improved:

• Even though I stated this as an advantage, I also think it's not good that projects are very easy to make. The usual hardness makes everything easier.

How this could be improved:

• So, uh, basically just find very random topics instead of basic ones like Scratch Starter Projects or the End of the Decade - make stuff like Micro and Prehistory like you did before.

• Next time, I think it would be a good idea to make an SDS that is good for Scratchers as well as New Scratchers; the Remix A Starter Project SDS was very for New Scratchers, not so much for Scratchers who have been using the website for a long time.

I have a suggestion. Sometimes, people get exact copies of their projects… mostly by one user that follows them. This could be prevented by making a feature to “Not notify about projects being shared” or making it so only some exact users can see their projects and gain access to interacting with them. That way, people who get TONS of these won't get bugged everyday and go through arguments with those users who make exact copies of projects, don't give credit or a reason, but sometimes claim the art is theirs and gain popularity.

• It was good because you can create a magic/myth/fairytale based project of any type (e.g. game, animation, story)
  
• The design studio was generally fun and interesting.

• Although it was creative and fun, magic, myths and fairytales are not that popular on Scratch, and most Scratch users are generally old enough to believe that although they are interesting, they are not real.

• Next time, there could be a design studio on Scratch that was more likely to be a trend on Scratch, but not a trend yet.

What was good:

• the theme was nice and broad, you could make anything from a 3D tower defense to a black screen
  
  What could be improved:
• The theme lead to horror projects, and the curators were letting them in! How this could be improved:
• chose a theme less conductive to horror projects and make sure the curators know not to add them
