Support! You can @people in comments and things like that, why not this? Quoting them wouldn't add an @ (or would it?) but it would be nice to click it. Also, would it notify them if you @e'd them? I would think not because that could lead to SPAM

Yeah, it would be annoying.

I would think maybe It would notify you if:

1. You had already posted in that thread/followed it (to prevent making a new topic and just spamming it)
2. It would only notify you ONCE (so if I did @robloxdude10 @robloxdude10 @robloxdude10 you would get one message)
3. If they edit it you wouldn't get notified.
4. You couldn't get notified on that topic again until you read your mail
5. You could disable it

Or ya know, just don't notify you.

One of the reasons why sending a notification when someone quotes you is rejected is because the forums are programmed in such a way that implementing it would be impossible.
Having read that, I'm asking: would this suggestion be possible?

Yes. Well, probably. If they do it in regular comments, I'm sure they can do it here.
