In my universe there are 6 different gods and goddesses who each rule over a different zone and all of the zones are apart of the same dimension.

All of this started during the year 4 BC when all of the gods and goddesses began to fight each other over who should rule the new dimension they created, after 5 years of fighting and 40 different gods and goddesses dying the last remaining gods/goddesses decided to split their dimension into six different smaller zones where each one could rule. The first zone went to the god Cheta, 2nd to the god Ruom, 3rd to the goddess Aurora, 4th to the god Mephiles, 5th to the goddess Tizra, and 6th to the goddess Cutrix.

The zone Sonic lives in is the 3rd zone rules by Aurora.

What are the zones like?

The first zone is peaceful with no villains but is also the weakest since it has no heroes either

The second zone also known as the Sol Zone is Blaze's Zone it's similar to Sonic's Zone except Eggman is a minor threat compared to other villains in the second zone

The third zone has lots of fighting with the freedom fighters always fighting Robotnik

The fourth zone is the Anti 2nd Zone

The fifth Zone is the Anti 3rd Zone

The Sixth Zone is the most war like of the zones and also the most primitive

In Sonic's Zone Eggman changed his name to Robotnik after taking over all of Mobius

Eggman used to be a good person, with intellect superior to the average human.
After learning the person he looked up to, his grandfather Gerald, he went insane. He changed the name of the company from Robotnik Inventions Company to Eggman Industries. He set up factories all over South Island, set to mass produce robots. The workers weren't so pleased with this. So Eggman sent them through the Roboticizer, one of Professor Charles Hedgehog's inventions. The Roboticizer was used for medical purposes, but Eggman used it to reprogram the workers' minds, turning them into mindless slaves. Eventually, on May 7th, 3124, Sonic and Tails met Eggman on the edge of the Great Forest, where he unleashed his army of Robots, known as Badniks. Sonic and Tails barely managed to defeat them. But Eggman didn't give up. And Sonic and Tails didn't either. The combat got more and more intense as time went on, and this resulted into the formation of the South Island Freedom Fighters, consisting of:

Robotnik views himself as the savior of Mobius since in his mind free will leads to chaos and destruction so roboticizing everybody into thinking the same will make the world a better place plus no one will need to eat and no one will have to die so in Robotnik's own mind he's the hero and Sonic is the villain. The only people Robotnik doesn't roboticize are his elite enforcers who are all 100% loyal to Robotnik due to painful rededucation or anyone who is young enough to get taught that Robotnik is good without questioning anything Robotnik has done.

There are over 40 freedom fighter groups fighting against Robotnik but almost none of them have the same goal besides fighting Robotnik.

The Freedom fighter group Sonic is apart of is the Great Forest Freedom fighters the members are:

Sonic and Tails were on June the 23rd, 3115. Their family lived in the rich little village of Emerald Hill. Sonic was born with a weird power - high speed. His fur was also blue, but that was from a genetic mutation. Tails was also born with a mutation - his two tails. He was also born with the high speed. They learned quicker than the average child. On August 7th, 3117, Amy was born, with no mutations. Sonic and Tails' first day of school didn't go well. The two were bullied for their mutations, but, there was one kid who respected them - Silver. At the time, no-one knew that Silver was a being made of Chaos Energy, which gave him his mysterious power - his Psycokinesis. Anton Veruca was the main bully at Emerald Hill Primary school. One day, Anton punched the two, cutting each of their hands open. After their hands healed, they saw a scar on each of their hands, shaped like a chaos emerald. They discovered that if rain touches the scars, they hurt uncontrollably. So they got gloves, which they still wear to this day. Due to their running, their shoes always wore out. So they decided to make the Power Trainers - shoes that are specifically made not to wear out.

At 8 years old, after one of their inventions went wrong, they gathered their things and ran away. They ended up on South Island, their new home.
1 year later, they spotted Dr. Eggman. They only barely managed to beat him. After the battle, they began training. They set up a rag-tag group of Freedom Fighters to stop Eggman.

Due to Shadow being an artificial hedgehog, he can not physically take off his shoes. His shoes are basically welded to him at all times. He's fine with it, though.

Central City is built up of 3 districts:

Golden Bay
New Westopolis

New Westopolis is called New Westopolis to avoid confusion with the capital of South Island, Westopolis.

Mobius was made over 100 million years ago. Mobosaurs used to rule the world, until an asteroid hit, wiping all of them out. That asteroid happened to contain the Master Emerald, creating Mobian Echidnas, now known as the lost ancients of Mobius. After Monkeys evolved into humans, they and the Echidnas became the dominant races of Mobius. But one day, that changed. The First war of Ancient Mobius started, and the humans won. They gave the Echidnas the other half of the country they called Downunda. But that half contained the Master Emerald, which an Echidna placed on one of the pedestals they found, which resulted in Downunda splitting in two, and their half floating in the air. The flying half was renamed to Angel Island, while the part still down on Mobius was called South Island.

Sonic, Tails and Amy's family is pretty rich. But why are they so rich in the first place? Let's learn.

Father's side
Amaedus Prower is pretty different from his representation in the Archie Comics. Instead of being a one-eyed member of the Mobotropolis Royal Guard, he still has his other eye, and isn't a member of the Mobotropolis Royal guard. His family was pretty rich, but also really posh. They got their money from working high-paying jobs.

Mother's side
Bernadette Prower's (maiden name Hedgehog) family was pretty well known in the science community, names include Dr. Maurice Hedgehog (Sonic, Tails and Amy's grandfather) and Prof. Charles Hedgehog. (Sonic, Tails and Amy's Uncle)

Speaking of which, Charles (let's call him Chuck) was born with blue fur, but not the super speed. He knew about Sonic and Tails' weird abilities, and wanted to know how they could use them to their advantage.
